Supreme Steel is currently looking for safety conscious and highly efficient individuals to to join our fabrication team in the position of Trades Helper at our facility in Acheson, AB. These are full time, unionized positions working the day or afternoon shift. The Trades Helper is responsible for supporting skilled trade workers in the shop, performing routine drilling, grinding, tasks as well as set up, clean up and moving of materials.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to gain knowledge quickly, following safety precautions and have strong communication skills. Experience in a shop environment is considered an asset. We are looking for an energetic individual that has experience in a shop environment and has worked with tools. An interest in learning the Metal Fabricator and/or Welding trade and eventually work into an apprenticeship role is considered an asset.
This is an amazing developmental opportunity for a motivated, growth-orientated individual with an interest in learning the Metal Fabricator and/or Welding trades and wanting to grow into an apprenticeship role.
