About the Opportunity
About You
- Graduate of a recognized Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program or equivalent with Vascular Specialty
- Current (or eligible) for registration with NSCMIRTP
- Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Current CPR Certification
- Recent clinical experience in a non-Invasive Vascular Lab is preferred
- Ability to maintain good relationships with patients, families and co-workers
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, on a consultative basis, within the health care team
- Strong sense of initiative and responsibility
- Ability to adapt to flexible workload and stressful situation
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
- Long assignment full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
- Approximately 15 months
- Monday to Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm; subject to change as operationally required
Compensation and Benefits
This position is currently eligible for a Market Adjustment of approximately $239.25 biweekly. Eligibility for a Market Adjustment is reviewed periodically.
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
