Brief Description

The Warehouse Worker reporting to Regional Operations Manager is responsible for array of functions within the Warehouse Department based at Zurn facility in Brampton.

Key Accountabilities

• Receives, unpacks, verifies, and stores merchandise or materials on racking
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick up according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Count, Organize stock, maintains inventory, and report any discrepancies
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Maintain daily cleanliness/housekeeping of warehouse
• Abide by all company safety procedures, rules and regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Ability to operate forklift (Reach/Counterbalance) is preferred
• Ability to use RF Scanner is preferred
• Experience in picking
• Experience in shipping/receiving is preferred
• Inventory audits
• On a continuous basis: work in a standing position, bend and lift up to 40lbs
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the warehouse
• Ability to Adhere to Policies and Procedures
• Reliability and punctuality
• Strong work ethic
• Demonstrate high attention to detail
• Able to multi-task, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the organization
