This position will report to our Ener Sys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Our portfolio combines our stored energy expertise with power systems, enclosures, and renewable energy products to deliver world-class solutions for diverse applications such as 5G, broadband, Internet of Things (Io T), data center, and solar power. Our cutting-edge technology includes Lithium batteries, Fault Managed Power Systems, and Extended Run Time battery backup systems that improve the reliability and resiliency of broadband networks.
Ener Sys has over thirty manufacturing and assembly plants worldwide servicing over 10,000 customers in more than 100 countries. Worldwide headquarters are located in Reading, PA, USA with regional headquarters in Europe and Asia. Some of our brands include Power Safe, Data Safe, and Genesis batteries; Cordex power; and Outback Power renewable energy products. Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.
Job Purpose
Calls on end user customers, as well as lift truck dealers, to sell Enersys products, service, parts and accessories.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify target end user accounts and sell Motive Power Batteries, Chargers, Service and Full Maintenance Programs which conform to Enersys’ Power MAXXTM program.
- Regularly call on assigned lift truck dealer and end-users accounts in the assigned territory.
- Work closely with Enersys sales and service personnel in the territory to specify and sell battery handling systems and equipment.
- Sell parts, service and accessories to end users and lift truck dealers.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
One to two years’ industry related experience; or equivalent combination of technical education and industry experience. Sales skills and/or experience commensurate with position responsibilities.
Language Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French & English) to effectively interface with all levels of customers and personnel.
Mathematical Skills
An understanding of basic math and accounting principles such as calculating discounts, interest, commissions, percentages and volume.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions which lead to proper customer solutions.
Computer Skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook), and the Internet.
Driving Ability
Ability to operate various company vehicles in a safe and competent manner. Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record with minimal traffic violations. Must be at least 26 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
TRAVEL REQUIRED:
Overnight travel will be necessary for training opportunities, company meetings, customer calls and other circumstances as dictated by the supervisor. Must be able to travel by all modes of transportation.

- This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
