We're seeking a visionary individual to lead our mission in transforming English and Language Arts education through advanced data analysis, innovative AI applications, and deep subject matter expertise. Your goal? To double the speed at which students grasp language concepts and literary analysis, from basic phonics to advanced literary criticism.
At 2 Hour Learning, we're revolutionizing K-12 education with undeniable results. Our AI-driven learning ecosystem is transforming how students learn, enabling them to master subjects at twice the speed of traditional schooling. We're not tweaking the system; we're rebuilding it from the ground up, and we have the data to prove it works. Students using our platform consistently achieve 4s and 5s on five or more AP exams, demonstrate more than two year's growth on annual MAP assessments, and shatter their own expectations of what they can achieve.

What you will be doing

Uncovering patterns in student reading and writing data using AI, transforming these insights into groundbreaking strategies that revolutionize English language instruction and literary analysis.
Crafting AI-powered tools that adapt to individual learning styles, making grammar intuitive, vocabulary building exciting, and literary analysis accessible to students at all levels.
Designing dynamic learning pathways that evolve in real-time, guiding students from phonics to parsing complex texts, ensuring each learner progresses at an optimal pace.
Collaborating with a diverse team of educators, linguists, and AI experts to push the boundaries of language education, directly impacting the learning journey of thousands of students.
Transforming classic and contemporary literature into interactive, AI-enhanced experiences that not only educate students but ignite their passion for reading and writing.

What you will NOT be doing

Managing traditional English curriculums or handling administrative tasks—this role is about innovation and strategic improvement in how language arts are taught and learned within our accelerated model.
Working in isolation—you'll be part of our dynamic team pushing the frontiers of AI in English education.
Focusing solely on theory—every AI model you develop will directly impact how students understand and apply language skills in the real world, all within the 2 Hour Learning framework.

Key Responsibilities

Drive measurable improvements in student English and Language Arts outcomes through AI-driven analysis and implementation, as demonstrated by a 2x acceleration in skill mastery across various domains (reading, writing, grammar, literature analysis) and grade levels, all within our innovative 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field
3+ years of experience teaching English/Language Arts or developing ELA curriculum, with demonstrable impact on learning outcomes
Basic coding abilities in any programming language
Experience designing, implementing, or using AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights from it
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex English/Language Arts concepts to diverse stakeholders in a professional setting
