Hi There, This is Laura from CI&T!
I am a Talent Analyst looking for people in Colombia to work on a international project with a client from USA. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in .NET, C#, Java Script, and expertise in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. The successful candidate will have an advanced understanding of Saa S applications, Dev Ops methodologies, CI/CD practices, and microservices architecture. The successful candidate will be an expert in SQL server and have experience optimizing slow performing queries.
You are passionate about innovation, learning, coding standards and best software engineering practices and will use your deep understanding of the systems and technology to improve our legal and accounting products and customer experience while working closely with your engineering team and manager.
The position requires extensive experience building complex Saa S-based products or platforms and advanced knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud, web technology stack, RESTful APIs, Angular or React (is a plus) frameworks and database technologies.
Responsibilities
. Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of full stack applications using .Net framework, .Net core, Java Script frameworks, j Query, and C# to ensure best in class software.
- Mentor and advocate for best practices in developing software systems to ensure scalability, rapid changes, and easy management.
- Troubleshoot advanced issues, analyze user requirements, help other members of your team, perform thorough code reviews, and implement efficient solutions to complex problems.
- Model a Dev Ops culture, ensuring close collaboration between development and operations teams for efficient production and deployment of software, streamlining processes, and reducing system issues.
- Ensure adherence to high-quality software engineering practices in the areas of code quality, testing, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and
enhancements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance and feedback to ensure a high standard of quality.
- Effective communication and the ability to ask clarifying questions.
- Adhere to the agile software development life cycle best practices and governance.
Requirements:
- Advanced English level
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in full-stack development using C#, Java Script, j Query. knockout.js and .NET.
- Experience within an agile scrum team.
- A solid understanding and use of relational database methodologies and solutions
- Advanced understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server.
- Experience in CI/CD practices and tools.
- Proficient with Azure Dev Ops.
- Proficient in restful API development and maintenance.
- Strong emphasis on writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, extreme
organization, problem-solving and time management skills.
- Advanced knowledge and experience using software design patterns.
- Code refactoring expert.
Nice to have
- Experience with orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with knockout.js is a plus
