SOS International LLS (SOSi) is seeking a Logistics Manager for a potential contract to provide logistics management support for a U.S. Government program in Bogota, Colombia.
Essential Job Duties
- Manages all aspects of logistical support for the TO, including vehicle maintenance, supplies, materials, warehouse operations oversight, and property accountability in accordance with (IAW) AR 710-4.
- Manages Supply Support Activity (SSA), motor pool, fuel, driver dispatch, procurement, and backup support to the Site Operations Manager.
- Supervise, plan, and execute Logistics operations; fuel, vehicle maintenance, property, materials, waste management and potable water services and billeting for a small camp supporting up to 128 personnel.
- Interfaces with U.S. and Colombian military elements and management to coordinate requirements and ensure standards are met.
- Manages a small team of local nationals supervising skilled and semi-skilled Local National employees.
- Communicate new requirements, concerns, and issues to the Site Operations Manager and provide viable courses of actions for resolution.
- Demonstrates experience and expertise across all logistics functions to include operations, vehicle oversight, fuel, billeting, and property and materials management.
- Responsible to the Site Operations Manager for the effective management and execution of all logistics operations, fuel, billeting, property and materials management.
- Plans all aspects of the logistics operations on site in accordance with the scope of the contract and maintains direct oversight of the relevant subcontracts for waste management and potable water, and vehicles.
- Establishes and maintains project requirements for logistics operations to ensure quality, and productivity objectives are met in all locations where project work is being performed.
- Establishes and maintains operationally consistent work processes, mission-based production and performance metrics, and efficient and cost-effective project management.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
- Active in scope Secret clearance.
- 5-10 years of experience with Expeditionary logistics; OR equivalent 5-10 years of experience in a related field may be substituted.
- Demonstrated familiarity with computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Demonstrated experience with property management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher.
Work Environment
- Living and working conditions at assignment location will be at Bogota Colombia.
- Long hours, exposure to weather and contingency conditions.
- Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
