Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Mobile Application Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design for mobile platforms, a keen eye for aesthetics, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. You will work closely with our development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to create visually stunning, highly functional, and high-fidelity mobile application designs. High proficiency in design platforms, particularly Figma, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for mobile applications using Figma and other design tools to ensure user-friendly interfaces.
Produce pixel-perfect, production-ready designs that align with project goals and facilitate seamless developer handoff.
Craft high-fidelity design assets, including icons and illustrations, while maintaining consistency across all design elements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high fidelity designs are implemented accurately, providing necessary specifications and assets.
Create and manage comprehensive design systems and component libraries in Figma to promote consistency across projects.
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and enhance the overall user experience.
Optimize designs for multiple screen sizes and resolutions to ensure compatibility with various mobile devices.
Incorporate motion design and micro-interactions to improve user engagement on mobile platforms.
Participate in sprint planning and reviews within agile development methodologies to integrate design processes.
Ensure all designs adhere to platform-specific guidelines such as i OS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to the team's growth by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Utilize advanced Figma features, including auto-layout and interactive components, to create flexible, responsive designs.
Train and mentor team members on Figma's best practices, optimizing design workflows for efficiency.
Continuously explore and implement new Figma plugins and features to enhance design workflow efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
3+ years of experience in mobile app design with a strong focus on using Figma as the primary design tool
Expert proficiency in Figma, including advanced features, plugins, and best practices for file organization and collaboration
Strong portfolio showcasing high-fidelity mobile UI/UX design projects, demonstrating attention to detail and visual polish
Demonstrated ability to create and manage complex design systems and component libraries in Figma
Solid understanding of mobile design principles, patterns, and best practices for both i OS and Android platforms
Experience with usability testing methodologies to inform design decisions and improve user experience
Familiarity with mobile development processes and constraints
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools
Knowledge of motion design and animation for mobile interfaces
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience working in agile development environments
Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
Knowledge of design handoff tools to ensure high-fidelity designs are accurately translated into final products

Nice to Have Skills

Basic familiarity with .NET (version 6 and above) for backend development insights
Experience in using React Native with mobile projects.
Knowledge of Python for a rounded software development skill set
Intermediate skills in Principle and Framer for enhanced prototyping capabilities
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS to aid in UI development
