Tableau Developer

Overview: We are seeking a talented Tableau Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and building dashboards in Tableau, alongside a deep understanding of SQL queries and data analytics. You will collaborate with various departments to translate data into visually compelling insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that provide valuable business insights.
- Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across all dashboards and reports.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing Tableau dashboards and provide timely solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure the integrity and consistency of data used in visualizations.
- Continuously improve dashboard performance and usability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in creating complex Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets, optimizing performance, and data manipulation.
- Solid understanding of data analytics and the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven insights.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, or database management is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with other BI tools and data visualization software.
- Experience with ETL processes and integrating Tableau with different data sources.
- Understanding of data governance and security principles.
