We are looking for a Technical Lead for Java Script and React that focuses on overseeing and directing technical activities within an organization, with an emphasis on ensuring that development projects are of high quality, adhere to best practices and standards, and align with the company's strategic objectives.

Location: Remote - Full time

What you will be doing:

The Technical Lead will be responsible for planning and executing development strategies, managing development teams, implementing technical solutions, and promoting excellence in professional performance. This position plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining highly skilled teams, contributing to operational success and the delivery of exceptional results.

Standards Committee

Ensure that projects are built in accordance with the guidelines and standards of good practice and quality standards established by the company
Guarantee that technological functions are applied per the project's objectives.
Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and requirements for the software.
Actively seek ways to improve enterprise software processes and interactions.
Take a proactive approach to common challenges and continually research coding best practices.

Technical Audit & Deployment Standards

Schedule preventive audits to observe proper management of codes, architectures, and general development.
Schedule corrective audits when necessary to intervene in projects due to quality problems.
Supervise and approve all programs and final products before formal launch.

Architecture Documentation & Technical Assistance

Oversee and guarantee the documentation of all aspects of an application or software.
Architecture design.

Training, Mentoring, and Team Development.

Oversee and support the coaching and training of team members to ensure confidence in using software applications.
Conduct technical interviews, assessment reviews, and develop growth paths for team members.
Follow up with teams to ensure continuous development and improvement.

Innovation and Initiatives

Develop good working relationships with other employees, such as marketing managers, product managers, programmers, and engineers.
Develop projects and initiatives for the Innovation area.

SME Role

Work on OKRs set by the Co E division.
Support assigned accounts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Develop software initiatives in the Innovation area.
Collaborate with different divisions inside Techlab, primarily working in the Co E division.

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role, with a strong focus on Java Script and React development.
In-depth knowledge of React libraries
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies, version control, and CI/CD.
Solid knowledge and experience in software architecture, including designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and secure systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
A passion for technology and a commitment to continuous leaning and professional development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience with Java Script backend frameworks (Node.js) is a plus.
