The Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo is looking for a Banquet Administrative Assistant, who has strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills, is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation, and a passion for service.
BASIC PURPOSE : Perform administrative duties supporting the Banquet Division of the hotel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Type correspondence, reports, composition of letters, and memorandums; open, examine, sort, incoming mail and when appropriate gather information necessary for response; take and distribute departmental and divisional meeting minutes.
Maintain files, schedules, and calendars for management members of Banquets; coordinate, set and confirm interviews and appointments.
Assist in completing special projects which may include mailings, competitive surveys, menus or other assigned duties; maintain and order office supplies.
Maintain policy and standard manuals; update and distribute as necessary.
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Em Pact.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced computer skills
Knowledge in F&B (Preferably events)
Schedule flexibility
Excellent relations with staff
Ability to work under a lot of pressure
