Job Overview
Execution of professional tasks related to the planning, application and development of various areas of the Quality Control and Assurance System, aimed at continuous improvement and defect prevention, while complying with the established principles, policies and efficiency standards.
What You Will Do
- Lead the process of attention, investigation and response to Customer Complaints, ensuring the correct and effective application of Lean tools in problem resolution.
- Coordinate continuous improvement projects throughout the production process to prevent the recurrence of quality problems, generating synergy through the involvement of the applicable functional areas according to each case.
- Prepare procedures, visual aids and training materials to prevent quality problems through dissemination, training and staff awareness.
- Prepare and present projects and reports related to Quality results at both local and corporate levels.
- Supervise the MRB (Material Review Board) and CCB (Change Control Board) processes, ensuring effective and efficient processes that facilitate decision-making in an expeditious manner and with the correct information.
- Design and implement tools for data collection and analysis that allow obtaining the information required for decision-making at the management level.
- Coordinate the obtaining of samples related to Customer Complaints, design the required analysis processes and the reporting of results, and ensure the appropriate disposal of the material when it is no longer required.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of the investigations carried out and in process, for reference, research and internal consultation purposes, as well as to be presented in internal, corporate, external entity or client audits.
- Participate in the interviews, selection, hiring and training processes of new personnel in the area in which the position is developed. Effectively carry out other tasks and activities assigned within the Quality Department.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in a career that qualifies you for the position. (Industrial, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or similar)
- Knowledge of Quality Systems governed by standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 is desirable.
- Knowledge of sampling plans according to standards such as ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 & Z1.9, ASQ H1331, or ISO 2859-1 is desirable.
- Experience in EPA areas governed by ANSI/ESD S20.20 is desirable. Experience in automated or manual measurement tools to verify product conformity is desirable.
- Experience in carrying out FMEA processes, risk analysis and design of Control Plans according to AIAG guidelines is desirable.
- Mastery of MS Excel, including pivot tables, dynamic tables and queries. Desirable with knowledge in Power BI and JMP.
- Desirable with knowledge in SAP and Siemens Opcenter.
- 5 years' experience as a Quality Engineer.
- Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.

Responsabilidades del Puesto
- Liderar el proceso de atención, investigación y respuesta a Customer Complaints, asegurando la correcta y efectiva aplicación de herramientas Lean en la resolución de problemas.
- Coordinar proyectos de mejora continua a lo largo del proceso productivo para prevenir la recurrencia de problemas de calidad, generando sinergia mediante el involucramiento de las áreas funcionales aplicables según cada caso.
- Preparar procedimientos, ayudas visuales y materiales de entrenamiento para prevenir problemas de calidad mediante la divulgación, la capacitación y la concientización del personal.
- Preparar y presentar proyectos e informes relacionados con los resultados de Calidad tanto a nivel local como corporativo.
- Supervisar los procesos de MRB (Material Review Board) y CCB (Change Control Board), garantizando procesos efectivos y eficientes que faciliten la toma de decisiones de forma expedita y con la información correcta.
- Diseñar e implementar herramientas para la recolección y análisis de datos que permitan obtener la información requerida para la toma de decisiones a nivel gerencial.
- Coordinar la obtención de muestras relacionadas con Customer Complaints, diseñar los procesos de análisis requeridos y el reporte de resultados, y garantizar la disposición apropiada del material cuando ya no es requerido.
- Mantener registros precisos y actualizados de las investigaciones realizadas y en proceso, para efectos de referencia, investigación y consulta interna, así como para ser presentados en auditorías internas, corporativas, de ente externo o de clientes.
- Participar en los procesos de entrevista, selección, contratación y entrenamiento de nuevo personal del área en el cual se desarrolla el puesto.
- Ejecutar de forma efectiva otras labores y actividades que le sean asignadas dentro del Departamento de Calidad.
Requisitos del Puesto
- Bachillerato Universitario en una carrera que lo faculte para el desempeño del puesto. (Ingeniería Industrial, Eléctrica, Electrónica, Mecánica, Electromecánica, Mecatrónica o similar)
- Conocimientos de Sistemas de Calidad regidos por normas como ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 50001 e ISO 14001.
- Deseable con conocimiento en planes de muestreo según normas como ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 & Z1.9, ASQ H1331, o ISO 2859-1.
- Deseable con experiencia en áreas EPA regidas por la normativa ANSI/ESD S20.20.
- Deseable con experiencia en herramientas de medición, automatizadas o manuales, para verificar la conformidad del producto.
- Deseable con experiencia en la realización de procesos de FMEA, análisis de riesgo y diseño de Control Plans según los lineamientos de la AIAG.
- Dominio de MS Excel, incluyendo tablas pivote, tablas dinámicas y querys.
- Deseable con conocimientos en Power BI y JMP.
- Deseable con conocimientos en SAP y Siemens Opcenter.
- Experiencia de 5 años como Ingeniero de Calidad.
- Excelentes habilidades de organización, gestión del tiempo y comunicación.
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, tanto escrita como verbal.
- Altamente organizado, orientado a los detalles y centrado en los plazos.
