This role will be accountable for the leadership and sustainable profitable growth of the World Courier Business in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. You will be tasked with the commercial and service responsibility of managing the business at the country level by effectively leading local managers and collaborating with global and regional functional leaders within the matrix organization to drive strategic company growth, responsible for the overall performance of the business. We guarantee you an intense period of training in the first few months, and a steady increase in knowledge through a variety of internal trainings.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive business growth by operating incomes and sales budget, objectives on a continuous basis through effective customer relationship management, distributor management, etc., in adherence to the company’s compliance standards
• Forming the team in both offices (Prague and Bratislava) to one team with assistance from various functions located in our share service center in Vilnius.
• Maintaining operational communication with the team in Vienna regarding shipments processed in Slovakia
• Establish and ongoingly develop co-operation with other Cencora entities (especially local Alliance Healthcare entities throughout Czech Republic and Slovak Republic)
• Developing and executing business strategies to achieve short and long-term financial goals
• Deliver strategic direction for the Company in terms of sustained, profitable business growth, practice development and operational excellence
• Maintaining positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities
• Develop and strengthen market presence in the local Country and ensure the acquisition of new customers
• Manage all day-to-day aspects of the operations in the market/region, including all people & performance, financial and general office management issues
• Builds and strengthens client relationships at executive level
• Actively involved in resolution of any major client service failures
• Assessing, managing, and resolving challenging business developments and situations
• Building and enhancing the company's public profile at events, and participate in speaking engagements

Experience in the field should be confirmed by a company holding licence in forwarding/transport for which the employee worked.

The employee will need to be based in Prague, Czech Republic.

• Diploma/Bachelor's/Master Degree in logistics, engineering, pharmacy or other health related discipline. Alternatively three years of country or general manager expertise in logistic or health care industry.
• A minimum of six years of directly related and progressively responsible experience, including at least two years in a management position
• Relevant direct pharmaceutical industry experience in transport logistics
• Fluency in English
• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet key performance indicators across a range of qualitative and quantitative areas
• Effective influencing & communication skills with both internal & external stakeholders at all decision-making levels
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, especially managing local and remote teams
• Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
