Job Description

Development for Gearbox is responsible for driving the mechanical design, development and improvement of current and future generations of Electric Vehicle Powertrain for pre-production and production applications.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Engineer with primary focus on transmission and overall, Axle 3in1 integration [e Motor + Inverter + Transmission]
• The Development Engineer will work closely with subsystem teams (primarily the gearbox development team) to ensure the development of a differentiated 3 in 1 e Axle system with a focus on connectivity, packaging, assembly, and customer compliance.
• Responsible for driving the mechanical design, development and improvement of current and future generations of Electric Vehicle products for pre-production and production applications.

Expectations

• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical-mechanical hybrid (mechatronics).
• 2+ years of experience in development in automotive industry preferably in Electric Vehicle products in complete product cycle experience (concept to SOP).
• Experience with the CAD – knowledge of Detailed 2D drawings and GD&T, part, assembly, and version management experience, Basic simulation experience preferred.
• Hands-on mechanical fabrication, prototyping and/or test experience.
• Knowledge of test rigs, instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis of test data.
• Fluent English - you will use it daily in spoken and written form.
• Experience of working within an international team.
• Strong communication skills Hands-on approach.
