Cook (Indian regional food)- full time and part-time position available
You need to hold EU passport or valid residence to be eligible for the position.
An Indian restaurant and take-away in Copenhagen, Denmark is looking for cook with expertise in Indian cuisine.
The work is fulltime, 37hrs weekly divided by 6 days, holiday pay and an amazing workplace. If you have valid residency in Denmark and want to work part-time, that can be considered too.
Qualifications and experience
- You need to hold EU passport OR residence permit in Denmark. Your application will be rejected if you do not hold EU passport OR valid residence permit in Denmark.
· Ability to communicate in conversational English
· At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Indian Curry, Indo-Chinese food and Tandoori cooking is required. Experience with Tandoor is mandatory.
· Experience with Indian regional culinary delicacies will be preferred. Please specify in your application what kind of Indian regional food you have expertise in.
· Can work independently with minimum supervision
· Ability to ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions
· Can work with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
· Cook high-quality authentic full course meals and individual dishes and foods (Indian curries, tandoor cooking, Indo-Chinese and also regional Indian food)
· Maintain & manage inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
· Control food wastage without compromising on food quality.
· Ensure hygiene and cleanliness at all the times.
