Optimization and management of processes and structures in the daily operation

As right hand to the Department Manager your focus will be optimization of work structures and processes centered on the daily operation. The team is responsible for quality assurance of new releases as well as customer support related to our primary product Plexus that is the leading IT platform for the Life & Pension industry.
The team is based in Denmark, Holland and India. As such, your way to success is to a wide extent based on your ability to getting the team to work in a more structured and standardized way with increased collaboration across national borders. Your primary tasks will be to:

• Be the Manager’s extended arm by taking over tasks related to optimization of the daily operation
• Facilitate daily meetings in the team – virtual and cross-national meetings
• Create and implement a new/optimized structure for our virtual team meetings
• Be Project Manager and driver for optimization projects, e.g. creation and implementation of a better and standardized structure for customer releases and handling of customer claims
• Optimize/re-develop and manage our customer year wheel
• To a lesser extent help with day-to-day operations in order to gain and maintain an optimal understanding of the tasks and the pension sector/customers
• Whether you want to be based in Copenhagen or Utrecht is up to you. Everywhere, we have major flexibility, helpful colleagues and a good vibe.

People enabler with experience across coordination, facilitation and optimization

To succeed in this position, you must bring solid overview. This must be backed by the ability to analyze/break down a process and re-build it with an understanding of the overall value chain. As enabler for people, you must love to facilitate and help, and as part of this you like having a very outgoing role with many interactions on a daily basis.
Added to this, it is very important that you can thrive in an environment where you never know what the day will bring. As such, you have no problems having your plans changed from one second to another if something urgent comes up.

• Some years of experience from a similar role centered on coordination and facilitation
• Experience in developing and implementing processes, templates and structures
• Preferably knowledge of the pension industry – as a minimum motivation to learn quickly
• Good English skills, written and spoken

Support & Release Management – your new team

You will get 20 good colleagues counting 10 in Copenhagen, Denmark, 5 in Utrecht, Holland and 4 in Hydrabad, India. Professionally, we are generalists with focus on problem solving in the span between IT and business. Our support focus covers daily dialogue with customers and handling of claims/system errors. Regarding releases we ensure quality and test before new releases are handed over to the customers.
