Assistant Contracts Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Contracts Manager to join our Project & Development Services (PDS) team in Cairo, Egypt. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the contracts management process for various construction and development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts and related documents.
Support the senior contracts manager in all aspects of contract administration.
Monitor contract compliance and ensure all parties adhere to agreed terms and conditions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
Assist in the preparation of change orders, variations, and claims.
Liaise with internal teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders on contract-related matters.
Help identify and mitigate contractual risks.
Contribute to the development and improvement of contract management processes and procedures.
Prepare regular reports on contract status, issues, and performance metrics.
Assist in resolving contractual disputes and participate in conflict resolution processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in contracts management, preferably in the construction or real estate development industry.
Familiarity with Egyptian construction laws and regulations.
Strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
FIDIC knowledge and experience is a plus.
Personal Attributes:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment .
Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Ethical and demonstrates high levels of integrity.
