Job Title: Operations and Fleet Manager
Job Overview: We are looking for an Operations and Fleet Manager who will ensure seamless delivery of products to our clients, with a strong focus on managing drivers, vehicles, and ensuring the timely maintenance and repair of the fleet. The ideal candidate will also handle office tasks, including end-of-day closures, invoice collection, and operational reporting, while overseeing the entire delivery operation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day delivery operations, ensuring all orders are handled efficiently and resolving operational issues as they arise.
• Lead the team of drivers, ensuring effective scheduling, delegation of tasks, and that all drivers adhere to company policies.
• Manage the fleet, including organizing maintenance schedules, ensuring timely repairs of damaged vehicles, and monitoring overall vehicle performance.
• Ensure drivers follow safety procedures and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Coordinate with dispatch to keep all vehicles on schedule to meet customer demands.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, repairs, and accidents, ensuring proper documentation.
• Supervise drivers' performance, ensuring proper use of uniforms, preparation of necessary tools (e.g., bags, visa machines), and compliance with company standards.
• Design strategies for business growth, identifying new vendors and opportunities for expansion.
• Maintain budgets and optimize operational expenses to enhance profitability.
• Set company policies and enforce processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Recruit, train, and supervise drivers and other team members, ensuring professional development.
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency.
• Direct the employee assessment process, providing feedback and performance improvement plans.
• Prepare regular reports for upper management on fleet performance, operational progress, and financial metrics.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all operations.
• Provide solutions to business challenges, including issues with profitability, employee conflicts, or customer satisfaction.
