HVD Egypt is hiring a full-time on-site role for a Guest Relations Assistant located in Cairo, Egypt.
Job Description:
The Guest Relations Assistant will be responsible for performing front desk and customer relations duties, including answering, and transferring phone calls, greeting visitors, and providing general clerical support. The Guest Relations Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining excellent communication and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Assisting clients in finding their way around the office.
- Announcing clients as necessary.
- Helping maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, and helping with travel arrangements and internal events arrangements.
- Preparing meetings and training rooms.
- Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
- Sorting and distributing mail, announcements if requested.
- Maintaining clean open areas and report to facility management if there any misuse.
- Helping and supporting the junior administrative team.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Scheduling appointments of the meeting rooms but give the propriety of booking to the higher management.
Guest Relation Assistant Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Prior experience as a front desk, first representative of the company or in a related field.
- Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good time management skills.
- Experience with administrative and clerical tasks.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
