POSITION SUMMARY

This role focuses on driving smooth and efficient importation and transportation of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods for both IMS and F15 parties. This includes managing shipments across the MENA region, coordinating with IMS and third-party suppliers, and overseeing E2E triangular invoicing. The position also involves maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve sales targets and manage costs, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods, overseeing SAP transactions, and achieving on-time customer order fulfillment while maintaining customer satisfaction.


A DAY IN THE LIFE …

• Supervise import/export-related activities and requirements for the smooth execution of the order replenishment process, including customs clearance and sea international transportation booking.
• Engage extensively with freight forwarders across multiple markets for shipment details and document clearance.
• Communicate and collaborate regularly and consistently with all other areas involved in the end-to-end supply chain process, such as supply planners, import clearing officers, CS&D managers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, shipping lines, Globe, and finance, on IMS-related matters.
• Accelerate clearance with customers/clusters and ensure timely readiness of stocks for sale in collaboration with demand planners and import clearance officers.
• Reduce costs, documentation lead time, and requirements by conducting process mapping with suppliers and inspection companies, implementing lean methodology with suppliers and external parties for TDC (Total Delivery Cost) savings and zero demurrage.
• Ensure monthly adherence to functional health checks and periodically review General Shipping Instructions (GSI) for better risk and opportunity management.
• Supervise day-to-day operational activities of implants and third-party service providers.
• Focus on process optimization and operations management, aiming to reduce documents per shipment and improve documentation lead time and transit time.
• Establish relationships with category supply planners, IMS suppliers, and clusters by initiating regular alignment/reviews to manage exceptions and potential issues (e.g., DOR, WOR, MOR, QOR).
• Monitor IMS (Inter-Market Supply) claims to suppliers within the agreed lead time for closure.

What will make you successful…

• 3-4 years of solid experience in Import/Export or shipping industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement Materials Management.
• Excellent knowledge with Microsoft Office applications "Microsoft Excel is a must".
• Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
