What You Will Do
The Material Planner will be responsible for developing and managing the MRP for both short- and long-term scheduling, ensuring the on-time availability of raw and packaging materials by coordinating vendor purchase orders, logistics, and maintaining ERP master data. Additionally, they will monitor KPIs, manage inventory levels, collaborate with suppliers to mitigate issues, and lead improvement projects to enhance business agility.

What You Will Do
The Material Planner will be responsible for developing and managing the MRP for both short- and long-term scheduling, ensuring the on-time availability of raw and packaging materials by coordinating vendor purchase orders, logistics, and maintaining ERP master data. Additionally, they will monitor KPIs, manage inventory levels, collaborate with suppliers to mitigate issues, and lead improvement projects to enhance business agility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the MRP for short- and long-term schedule planning.
- Ensure on-time availability of the raw and packaging materials by managing the release of vendor purchase orders, maintaining item price information, and managing weekly call off with local packaging vendors.
- Maintain materials master data and parameters in ERP system
- Monitor MRP exception messages and contact suppliers to Re-schedule or expedite the deliveries to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and mitigate any unexpected other problems.
- Key contact with 60 (Local and Foreign) vendors to ensure the availability of all documentation for customs, warehouse receipts and QA release
- Work with suppliers on mold / Machine maintenance to avoid unplanned downtime.
- Coordinate the logistics process for the imported material for up to 350 shipment per year (Air/Sea )
- Site contact for raw and packaging material SLOB with finance COE
- Ensure submitting invoices by vendor to the finance team to timely organize the payment process.
- Track all material planning KPIs ( OTIF/ NC / MENs ) and create action plans and ensure the accuracy of all KPIs.
- Impact assessment of SLOB for PIPO and work with project management and suppliers for SLOB mitigation.
- Monitor & review the working capital stock classification on monthly basis to analyze (Slow & Obsolete / Near Expiry) items and prepare action plan with Sales and Production team.
- Manage the inventory levels and DOS.
- Regular review of suppliers RCCP and demand to anticipate capacity issues.
- Responsible for developing and renewing supplier Site-level Execution Agreements (SLEA’s).
- lead the improvement projects for lead time reduction, frozen fence reduction and increasing the business agility.
- Site contact for business plan development for raw and packaging material.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in material planning, supply chain management, or procurement within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (such as SAP and BPCS) for MRP, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, inventory management, with the ability to monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience managing relationships with local and international vendors.
