At Eni, we are looking for an Occupational Safety & Emergency Supervisor within Ieoc Production B.V. in Cairo , Egypt.
As a member of the Health, Safety & Environment Department, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with the management team in the implementation of safety plans and/or policies.
- Assuring the compliance of aviation service with relevant HSEQ procedures and best practice.
- Day-by-day management of aviation service contract.
- Identifying safety-related issues and overseeing the observance of safety regulations.
- Ensuring that Ieoc Policies are updated, communicated and adhered to by all employees, contractors and sub-contractors, with the collaboration of the IMS team.
- Monitoring and evaluating the outcome and effect of Ieoc Policies.
- Supporting Ieoc management with the planning, organisation and conduction of the HSE Personal Commitment; Site Visits – Safety Stand Down – SWA Promotion – HSE Meetings.
- Acting as liaison between management and external safety agencies, such as Fire Brigade, Civil Defence and Labor Office.
- HSE risk screenings and management for leoc and operating bases.
- Development of the High-Level Risk Report and ensuring it is properly updated and communicated to relevant parties.
- Development of Ieoc safety Departmental Budget, in conjunction with Ieoc HSE Contractor Management & Cost Controller team.
- Preparing and issuing new procedures based on company/operation needs.
- Assuring the revision of Safety Procedures, and recommending new ones if required, to ensure the continuous improvement of Ieoc safety performance.
- Ensuring that company HSE Management Systems are in line with updated HSE ISO Standards (14001, 45001 & 39001), in conjunction with the IMS Team, and that they are compliant with all HSE legal requirements.
- Participating in the submission of HSE plans and bridging documents for drilling, exploration and construction projects, onshore and offshore.
- Managing Ieoc Action Tracking System for actions raised from Audits, Incidents Investigations, UA/UC and Leadership Tours. Ensuring all actions are uploaded on INDACO and following-up actions status until closed.
- Managing the Company’s HSE Contractors from the HSE point of view throughout the contracting process (Invitation to Tender, Bidders Evaluation, Contract Awarding, Contract Execution and Contract Closeout).
- Assisting the Head of HSE and Community Investment with the management of Safety Signs, Firefighting & PPE Contracts.
- Establishing HSE Internal Training Programs and Awareness Plans.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining the required safety training for Ieoc employees, contractors and sub-contractors as indicated by regulatory guidelines, company requirement, hazardous condition monitoring and use of safety equipment.
- Raising awareness of employees by establishing, recommending and disseminating lessons learnt related to work place hazards.
- Ensuring that INDACO/SHERPA/e-PTW Systems are monitored, updated and maintained.
- Ensuring the monitoring of safety data and statistics of Ieoc offices and sites including HSE Incidents, Near Misses and any unplanned events. Analysing and determining their root causes and preparing Lessons Learned for management.
- Supporting, monitoring, coordinating and following-up Contractors\Sub-Contractors’ Safety performance in Ieoc office, accommodation and operational sites.
- Arranging and providing support during external audits with Ieoc Office and Sites, such as Eni HSE Compliance Audit and OHSAS Certificate Renewal process.
- Establishing and maintaining Ieoc HSE Audit plan.
- Leading the audit team when performing the internal audits for Ieoc sites; Ieoc office, DMB, DY, Ieoc accommodation and all those required by regulations and ieoc IMS.
- Supporting HQ in conducting technical audits at JVs upon HQ requirement. Establishing and maintaining Ieoc Emergency Drills Plans, 4-Year Drill Plan and Annual Drill Plan for Ieoc premises and Ieoc operating sites.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Engineering, Environment, Occupational Safety & Health or other related fields.
- Significant experience in HSE in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Experience in Safety Operational Control frameworks and knowledge of relevant local and international standards.
- Ability to make sound and decisive judgment on HSE Business processes and suggest solutions.
- Ability to work at all levels within the organization, self-motivated and well organized.
- Good communication, management and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of the English language. Competent in the use of Microsoft office application programs.
