Part-time English Instructor for teaching Adults in Al-Suez

Job Details:
Job title: Part-time English instructor (Teaching Adults)
Work location: Al-Suez
Working days: from 2 to 6 days a week
Working hours: *Evening* from 5pm to 10pm
Slots per day: 1-2 Slots
Hourly rate: from 60 EGP per hour to 80 EGP per hour depending on experience
*Free training provided (pass or fail training) on the methodology and curriculum of Berlitz
Job Responsibilities
- Delivering lessons to improve students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Tailoring lessons to meet the needs of different proficiency levels.
- Preparing activities and exercises that support language acquisition and retention.
- Evaluating students’ language skills through tests, quizzes, assignments, and most importantly speaking activities. Providing constructive feedback and monitoring their progress to identify areas needing improvement.
- Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. Managing student behavior and fostering an atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Keeping accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress. Completing reports and other administrative paperwork as required.
- Offering additional support to students who may need extra help. Providing guidance on language learning strategies and resources.
Job Requirements:
-A bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
-Hard-working undergrads are more than welcome to apply.
-Previous teaching experience, especially in an English language instruction role, Experience with diverse student groups and different teaching environments can be advantageous.
-Native or near-native proficiency in English is essential. A strong command of English grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary is required.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective teaching and interaction with students.
-Flexibility to adjust teaching methods and materials based on the needs and progress of students.
-Strong organizational skills for planning lessons, managing classroom activities, and keeping accurate records.
-conflict resolution skills and patience.
-Ability to build rapport with students, motivate and engage learners, and provide constructive feedback.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From E£60.00 per hour
