Regional Commercial Excellence Head

This role will be based in Cairo, Egypt and will report to the Commercial Excellence Director, META. The Regional Commercial Excellence Head drives the development and execution of strategies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and value in support of Acino’s business priorities across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META). This pivotal role optimizes sales and marketing operations, resource allocation, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring strategic alignment with regional and global objectives in collaboration with Regional and Cluster teams. Additionally, the role champions digital transformation and omnichannel engagement to boost commercial performance, navigating the complexity of diverse markets and go-to-market models.

Success requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, healthcare expertise, and strong communication skills to drive adoption of transformative tools and processes. The role demands credibility, vision, and influence to align stakeholders, build strategic relationships, and elevate commercial team capabilities.


Your responsibilities will be:



Sales Force Excellence

  • Lead the strategic design and execution of sales force effectiveness initiatives across META to enhance productivity and ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to optimize territory coverage, field force efficiency, and market reach, driving accelerated revenue growth and higher sales productivity. Generate actionable insights to guide leadership in making informed changes.
  • Oversee competency assessments and collaborate with training teams to develop targeted programs that address performance gaps.
  • Integrate digital tools and AI-driven analytics to elevate sales force performance and improve customer interactions.


Marketing Excellence
  • Drive the development and execution of marketing excellence strategies to maximize brand performance and market penetration across META.
  • Lead the optimization of omnichannel marketing initiatives, focusing on digital transformation and ensuring data-driven, customer-centric approaches.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance capabilities in campaign execution, resource allocation, and impact measurement.
  • Support marketing teams in executing tactical plans that improve market access, brand differentiation, and overall commercial success.
  • Champion the adoption of AI, digital tools, and analytics to refine targeting and enhance customer insights across diverse markets.


Data-Driven Commercial Insights
  • Lead the deployment of data analytics and business intelligence tools to generate actionable commercial insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the region.
  • Oversee the creation and management of dashboards that track sales and marketing performance, providing real-time insights to leadership.
  • Support sales and marketing teams in forecasting, planning, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with growth opportunities and strategic objectives.


Go-to-Market Excellence and Resource Optimization
  • Lead the optimization of go-to-market strategies and resource allocation to ensure efficient deployment of sales and marketing teams across the region.
  • Oversee sales force sizing and deployment projects, ensuring alignment with commercial goals, market dynamics, and growth potential.
  • Drive the execution of excellence initiatives for new product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful market entry and long-term growth.


Operational Excellence and Process Improvement
  • Lead the standardization and continuous improvement of commercial processes, ensuring adherence to global best practices for sales and marketing operations.
  • Champion the adoption of CRM systems, digital platforms, and AI-driven sales and marketing optimizations that enhance commercial efficiency.
  • Oversee key commercial excellence projects, managing change initiatives that streamline processes, boost efficiency, and drive superior commercial results across META.


Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams—including marketing, sales, market access, finance, and supply chain—to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution.
  • Serve as a key advisor to regional leadership on commercial and marketing excellence strategies, offering insights and recommendations to boost commercial performance.
  • Lead and mentor the Commercial Excellence and Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) teams, promoting a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  • Partner with Cluster Sales, Marketing and SFE teams to facilitate the successful implementation of new programs and foster a culture of excellence across the region.


Your Profile:
  • Education & Experience:
    Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Pharmacy, or related fields; MBA preferred. Over 12 years in Commercial Excellence, Sales Force Effectiveness, and Marketing in the pharmaceutical sector. Proven leadership in complex commercial transformations.
  • Customer Engagement:
    Expertise in data analytics (e.g., Power BI) and CRM systems (e.g., IQVIA OCE) for customer-centric strategies. Strong marketing performance optimization skills and ability to manage and influence stakeholders to meet customer needs.
  • Communication:
    Exceptional influencing, presentation, and strategic communication skills. Capable of articulating business goals and recommendations effectively across diverse teams and leadership.
  • Change Promotion:
    Extensive experience in leading organizational change and process improvements. Adaptable to shifting priorities and new business environments.
  • Business Acumen:
    Proven leadership in optimizing sales and marketing operations. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to align commercial strategies with business goals.
  • Digital Empowerment:
    Deep knowledge of digital transformation and AI-driven analytics. Supports omnichannel strategies to enhance customer engagement.
  • Coaching & Development:
    Skilled in mentoring and developing team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Effective in delegating tasks and prioritizing responsibilities.
  • Leadership Inspiration:
    Ability to inspire teams with a clear vision, encouraging innovation and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Strategic Growth:
    Successful in executing commercial excellence programs that drive revenue growth. Focused on aligning operations with growth opportunities for sustainable business performance.
Language:
  • Proficiency in English required; Arabic and/or Turkish is a plus.
