Project description
The development of cars & commercial vehicle changes on a constant basis and the collaboration between Hardware & Software in and outside the vehicle is defined by innovative design, endless connectivity and a seamless integration in a massively growing amount of backend systems. The client being in the driver-seat for such innovations & constant changes, the challenge is not only to develop seamless integrated software: The challenge starts already with a high load of new functionalities & connected services, which require not only a solid integration and seamless operation to ensure the right user experience for the OEM's customers, but at the same time meet the security requirements in order to function properly and with no interference.
Responsibilities
Create Software requirements based/derived from system and customer requirements
Become our team's main stakeholder concerning customer requirements
Review technical requirements with customer stakeholders as well as third-party suppliers and our internal experts for correctness and completeness against inputs
Maintain entire requirement management process (Review, Clarification, Traceability, Configuration, Version Control, Baselines and Tool setup)
Create traceability matrix and moderate its maintenance
Coordinate with Software Design and Development teams
Skills
Must have
Experience in Automotive industry as a requirement engineer or system engineer
Experience in creating technical specification and working with customer requirements (system and/or software level)
Experience in Software Development projects in applications and development tools
Knowledge of requirements management and requirement standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong communication and assertiveness
Experience with Requirement Management Tools such as Codebeamer, DOORS, Teamcenter, Req Pro or others
Experience with formal software development process (Automotive SPICE)
Experience with common tools like Atlassian toolchain
Fluent in English
Nice to have
German language is considered a plus
Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic or Adaptive Platforms)
