We are looking for face-to-face Fundraisers to the Finnish Red Cross Headquarters' fundraising unit to a permanent employment. As a Fundraiser, your job is very meaningful, as it enables the continuous aid given to those in need. We expect you to be at least 18 years old and have a valid work permit in Finland.
Tasks
Your most important task as a Fundraiser is to get new monthly donors to our organization. They enable our aid, both domestic and international. You will make sure that the donors commit to a regular, long-term donation.
We work according to a weekly shift schedule on the streets, going door-to-door or in shopping centers. Our work week is Monday-Friday.
Fundraising is team work. You will have a Team leader and an experienced Coordinator supporting you.
Your work tasks include participating in basic and advanced trainings of the F2F Fundraisers. You will also make sure that the filled forms are given forward after your shift.
Employment begins by agreement. First interviews will be done as soon as possible.

We expect from you
To be successful, you will need a can-do and a positive attitude. You have the courage to encounter new people on the streets, at the doors and in shopping centers as well as persistence and perseverance to get through difficult situations. You can get the donors by speaking either Finnish or English.
We expect the chosen fundraisers to adhere to the principles and values of the Red Cross. We hope for applicants from various backgrounds and genders.
We offer to you
The work has a fixed hourly wage of 13,63 €/h, with 15% evening extra pay after 18:00. We also have a motivating bonus systen in place (10-30 € bonus on reaching the daily goal).
You can influence your own work times and hours and work flexibly between 15-30 h/week. We can work in morning, day or evening shifts from Monday to Friday, between 10-20.
You will be trained for the work, so you will not neccesarily need any previous experience. Come and join our excited, energetic and international team, where we will support each other!

We work in many places in the city. Our default work place is the city center of Jyväskylä.
