Project Engineer

We are looking for:

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer willing to travel regularly to Germany. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on legacy system documentation and improvement, and it does not require extensive experience — moreover, a strong drive to succeed at the job and the ability to start on short notice. Location: Espoo, Finland / Northern Germany / remote

As a Project Engineer, you will:

• Conduct investigative work on vessels, bring information from a previous project delivery together, and focus on documentation improvements and equipment audits
• Support procurement and data collection for the project
• Collaborate with engineering teams to locate and organize system details from distributed databases
• Travel monthly to Northern Germany for 1-2 weeks, with remaining work at the office in Espoo or remotely (up to 1-2 days/week)

To succeed, you have:

• Background in Mechanical or Electrical/Automation Engineering - knowledge from both is beneficial
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is highly advantageous
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly
• Strong motivation and enthusiasm for learning
• Immediate availability to start
• Ability to work independently on investigative, detailed-oriented tasks
