Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Project Manager at ABB Oy, Robotics Division. This position is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for overseeing robotics projects in Finland, providing clear guidelines, tasks and milestones to the team, while motivating them and providing feedback. You will showcase your expertise in maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the project. Each day, you will be supported by our customer oriented and friendly team as well as ABB factories and global solution centers. This versatile role offers you the chance to develop yourself to be an expert in the various areas of latest robotics technology. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Acting as key contact for the customer and an internal escalation point for project issues • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicating with all stakeholders, including management • Supporting sales managers in defining technical solutions with cost evaluations and offering content according to customer specifications and ensuring adherence to safety standards • Defining a project plan including scope, financial plans, schedule, resources, risk management, machine safety and HSE • Designing system´s mechanical, electrical and functionality layout, including components and suppliers. Providing overall solution together with the project team • Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress, costs, invoicing, efficient resource utilization and documentation • Managing project related purchasing and invoice handling activities • Capturing, analyzing and sharing lessons learned throughout the project • Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer • Ensuring a smooth transition from the project team to the service team You will join a talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

• Ability to demonstrate your broad technical background and several years of experience in robotics applications, system design and engineering (mechanical/electrical) and simulation is essential
• Possessing an enhanced experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors / subcontractors is an advantage
• Being a customer minded person with strong interpersonal and people management skills is essential
• Possessing outstanding planning and organizing skills is relevant
• You are result oriented and can demonstrate great stress toleration
• You are at ease in communicating in Finnish and English, both oral and written
• Enhanced knowledge of Robot Studio, MS Office; MS Project, Inventor, Autocad, SAP, SFDC, e Plan competence is an advantage
• Willingness to travel for short business trips
