The Internet of Things (Io T) team at Ericsson Research, Finland, is looking for a student to work on a MSc Thesis project. In this role, you will get an opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice with mentorship from our forward-thinking professionals. You will be exposed to a global organization that develops groundbreaking technology that truly changes the world.
Together with the rest of the research team, you will be developing novel concepts, solutions, algorithms, and patents. Our team works with application protocols, standardization, interoperability, sustainability, and Generative AI in the context of Io T, and mobile networks.
You’ll get the opportunity to

Create a Master Thesis topic together with us and link it with our research agenda
Work closely with your instructor and the whole team throughout the thesis
Work with cutting edge technology in the Io T area
Perform, document, and communicate the research and results for the team
Use state of the art technologies, tools and software

Key Qualifications:

Background in Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar
Significant part of courses associated with the degree (MSc) are accomplished
Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge and apply it in the job
Good communication skills in written and spoken English
Effective team player
Good programming skills that enable implementing prototypes and demos

Additional qualifications (not strictly required):

Knowledge of Io T protocols and data models
