We are looking for Senior SW Developers to join in our mission to create striking performance – the 9LV Combat System. To make this engine going we cover all development, from bottom to top, meaning platform solutions all the way to user applications.
Your role
In this role, you will be handling versatile Software Development tasks related to our global product portfolio. You will be part of an agile development team in Finland with a broad focus on different system features.
The main tasks will include the following:

• Produce efficient code based on specifications
• Design, test and build software to meet user needs
• Verify and deploy software tools and processes
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Document the information needed for upgrades and maintenance

Your profile
As a person, you are truly a doer, willing to get hands-on solving any problems needed to help the product and the organization move forward. You have a collaborative mind-set and you are a team player that encourages an open, trustful and innovative climate. Ideally, you share our eagerness to learn new technologies, and to challenge the status quo.
Required skills/experience:

• Good understanding and experience from agile SW development
• Good programming skills with Java, C/C++ or Ada
• You like working both in teams and independently
• Good communication skills in speaking and writing (Finnish and English)
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other equivalent background
• Basic knowledge of Linux

Good-to-have skills/experience:

• Virtualization and containerization techniques and tools
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Javascript etc.)
• Product creation experience
