As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Logistics Administrator to join our expanding team in Grangegeeth, Co. Meath. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the logistics function in a dynamic environment.
The Role..
The successful candidate will be responsible for attaching and detaching the load to and from the lifting equipment, for the correct use of lifting accessories and equipment in accordance with the planning of the operation and for initiating and directing the safe movement of the lifting equipment and load. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, supporting various teams and logistical tasks.
Responsibilities:

• Safely attach loads to cranes or other heavy machinery, using slings, chains, or other attachment methods.
• Direct the movement of plant and equipment, using approved hand and verbal signals.
• Ensure a safe system of work is followed during lifting operations.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or defects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and safe operations

Licence/Certification & Requirements:

• Possess a certificate / qualification as a Banksman/Slinger,
• Hold a Plant / Experienced Operator card – Slinger/Signaller certificate either CSCS or NPORS or Country Equivalent
• Experience in a similar role gained on a busy construction site with 3-4 years experience.
