Job Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist/dental assistant to join our team at a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate should have experience in medical or dental settings and possess knowledge of various software systems commonly used in clinics.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
- Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient care efficiently
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental clinic, self study to show interest in dental terminology, is preferred
- Proficiency in using software systems like Eaglesoft, Revenue Wells or similar platforms
- Knowledge of clinic operations and administrative procedures
- Familiarity with dentall terminology and insurance verification processes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively at the front desk
