Mission

Our client is a leading Bordeaux-based startup, at the forefront of innovation, specializing in cybersecurity. This company has pushed the boundaries of technology by developing its own solution focused on binary security analysis of software. Today, it stands out for its expertise in embedded software security, secure execution environments, and embedded cryptographic attacks. With a strong reputation, the company operates mainly internationally, working with prestigious clients.

As part of its growth and continued technical excellence, our client is looking for a:

Hardware Security - Side-Channel Analyst (M/F)
Permanent Contract - BORDEAUX (FRANCE)

As a Hardware Security Analyst, you will be at the core of hardware security analysis projects, contributing both to research and the development of new security techniques.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Hardware Security Analysis: Participate in expert projects, including black-box reverse engineering or white/grey-box security assessments.
  
• Research and Development (R&D): Develop side-channel analysis techniques and share your findings through technical publications.
  
• Training: Provide technical training on side-channel analysis and develop new educational content for training sessions on the internal platform.
  

Profil

You possess excellent interpersonal and writing skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and present persuasively. You are motivated and able to work independently to achieve set objectives while proactively contributing to the team.

Profile Requirements:

You ideally have a Master's or Ph D in Computer Science (or a related field) with over 5 years of experience in physical attacks and embedded security functions.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in side-channel analysis and cryptography.
  
• Strong knowledge of microarchitectures.
  
• Python programming skills.
  
• Experience in reverse engineering is a plus (knowledge of tools like IDA, Ghidra, Wireshark, Volatility, etc.).
  
• Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
