In the role of Operations Manager France, you'll play a crucial part in shaping our foundation and future for our French set-up of MPL.

The position will be located in Marseille, France.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Operations Manager you will be responsible for a team of 5 specialist as focus on the excellent service deliveries to our project customers. You will be responsible for the operational development in France and ensure the growth plans are delivered with our sales and development teams. You will join in a team of 5 Operations Managers as make up the Centre of Excellence South Europe within MPL.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Formulates and execute a local customer service strategy in order to deliver on the global and local targets and priorities.
• Involved in executing on agreed targets.
• Establish, synchronize, and execute on the customer roadmap along with the customer and the respective Key Client Manager. All based on the customer requirement and needs.
• Maintain a dynamic and scalable customer service organization where resources are managed effectively and efficiently.
• Conduct periodic reviews with our customer(s) on priorities and performance to ensure internal performance is reflected in customer satisfaction.
• Cultivate customer relationships and listens to understand.
• Drive continuous improvement, monitors performance against established KPIs and targets and takes corrective action as required.
• Spearhead the way in our change journey where new ways of working will be implemented in a new operational systems.

• Project logistics experience, preferable as manager
• Understanding and passion for supervising and empowering people.
• Experience with oversized cargo transportation
• Ability to work in a matrix organization and influence decision makers.
• Proven and sustained track record of delivery, with focus on driving results through others.
• Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written in English.
• Ability to travel approx. 15-20 days a year
