Job Summary
As a Parts Person, you will play a crucial role in managing and distributing parts for automotive services. Your responsibilities will include sourcing, procuring, and organizing parts to ensure efficient operations.
Duties
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing and terms for parts
- Manage inventory control to optimize stock levels
- Collaborate with demand planning to forecast part needs accurately
- Coordinate supply chain activities related to parts procurement
- Assist in automotive service and auto body repair by providing necessary parts
- Support logistics operations by ensuring timely delivery of parts
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to parts
Experience
- Prior experience in automotive parts management is preferred
- Knowledge of inventory control practices is beneficial
- Familiarity with supply chain processes is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills are essential for this role
