Job description
We are looking for a professional cooks with prep and/or line cook experience to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. Duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

· AM/PM shifts where days and hours must be flexible, Examples of shifts: 6am-230pm, 2pm-1030pm, schedules will be discussed on a weekly basis
· Per Svs contract, cooks are to provide their own white or black chef coats
· Hats are required
· Bring your own chef knife
· Non slip shoes
· Preparation of hot and cold food following instructions
· Execution of hot and cold food following instructions
· Able to cook in front of guest when doing action stations such as omelet or pasta stations
Responsibilities:

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for meals (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
