Job Description: Accountant
This position will be responsible for intercompany accounting and AR related reconciliation and entries. Will report to the Business Controller and have assistance on site to learn systems and processes. This role involves analyzing financial data to provide strategic recommendations and support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

All intercompany accounting
?
All AR related reconciliations and entries
?
Lease accounting
?
Accounting for all prepaid accounts
?
Bank account reconciliations
?
Use tax entries and tax schedule prep for corporate
?
Compile and report engineering expenses by category
?
WW entitlement days calculations
?
Facilitate AR-1 preparation
?
HFM webforms (intangibles, other liabilities, marketing expenses)
?
All invoicing related tasks from the Macola ERP system
?
Prophix advanced user ? specific forecast updates, loading international actuals, etc.
?
SIP plan calculations and submissions for approval/payment
?
Cell Phone administration
?
Payroll backup
?
Special project management
EXPERIENCE & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: education and experience based on job-related requirements and are consistent with business necessity.

Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
?
CPA certification is a plus, but not required
?
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
?
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP)
