Position Objective:
The CC (Conference Center) Health Technician assists and supports the CC Health Supervisor with all health needs of participants and staff, in a manner consistent with MHAs mission, vision and values.

General Qualifications:
The CC Health Technician is a Ministerial position. Ministerial staff render their work, stewardship, relationships and behavior as evidence of being followers of Jesus Christ while embracing and affirming Mount Hermon Association, Inc.s (MHA) mission, vision and beliefs. They are responsible for defining, cultivating and leading MHAs Christian community, conference programs, and retreats.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Manage and stock the CC Healthcare Center.
• Storage, handling and dose medication in compliance with MHAs Medication Policy and Procedures.
• Assist with transportation of campers or staff to urgent care or hospital using MHAs 2 Person Policy.
• Access Circuitree-Health history/emergency contact form, parent/guardian consent, and Medication Administration Record.
• Conduct testing as needed for infectious diseases.
• Check / document AEDs weekly.
• Document each campers or parents clinical encounters in Circuitree and MHA staff/JEMS/AMATA/CILTS in Camp Health Log.
• Carry First Aid back pack, (Epi-pens and Benadryl) on Beach Day and connect as needed with Health Supervisor by phone.
• Participate in Health Screening of Campers and Staff as needed.
• With Health Supervisors support, locate, complete and distribute Employee or Volunteer Incident Report, referral form and Workers Compensation Packet (DWC-1), or Campers Incident Report and Campers insurance form.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• None.

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

• High school graduate.
• Current American Heart Association Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED which includes care of infant, child, and adult.
• Must be 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record due to MH driver policy.
• College or university course work in preventative health practice, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology is preferred.

Work Experience:

• Preferred experience (work or volunteer) working in health services environment.

Physical Demands:

• The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
• Ability to see, hear, grasp, and speak English.
• The employee is frequently required to run, crouch, stand, sit for long periods, and use steep trails and stairs.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age due to the requirement for onsite community living.
• Must agree to and comply with MHAs employee driving guidelines for MHA-owned vehicles and personal vehicles for business purposes.
• Adherence to the basic principles as expressed in MHAs Mission, Vision, Values and Commitment statements.
• Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
• Satisfactory completion of background investigation as well as ability to provideproof of eligibility to work in the United States.
