As one of the highest volume Benjamin Moore Paint Dealers in the South Bay, we have established a great reputation for providing the highest quality paints and stains, while providing an excellent customer service experience to everyone that walks through our doors.
We're looking for a dynamic individual, part time or full time with a clean DMV record, to help us with the following tasks:
Warehouse Receiving - We receive shipments everyday, Monday - Friday. This can range from a 1/2 pallet of paint sundries, to 6 pallets of single and five-gallon paint pails, weighing up to 60lbs per pail.
Checking in material safely and efficiently, and then moving it to the correct location (with a handtruck/dolly) is the majority of this portion of the job.
Daily Deliveries and Store Transfers - We transfer material between our 3 stores, and offer deliveries to customer's job site's, and offices/shops.
You will be responsible for loading/unloading material from the delivery truck, then transporting it safely to a drop off point, or to one of our other location's warehouses (using a handtruck).
All 3 of our stores are with 10-15 minutes of one another. On an average day, we have 2 transfers between stores and 3 - 5 deliveries.
We limit most of our deliveries to the greater San Jose/Santa Clara/Campbell/Los Gatos/Sunnyvale/Mountain View area. Usually we offer a morning (8:30am) delivery or transfer run, and also an afternoon (1pm-2pm) delivery/transfer run.
This requires a clean DMV report, and a road test alongside the owner of South Bay Paints.
-->This position is a starting point that can lead to a lot of growth. We're currently looking to fill this position as the previous Stock Associate was promoted into a Sales Associate position.
Qualifications:
-->Customer service experience is preferred. You must be comfortable communicating with your team at the store, and also interacting with customers when you are on a job site or office/shop delivery.
-->We are looking for reliable candidate that wants to work and has their own reliable vehicle.
-->We need a candidate who has availability within our business hours. Usual schedule somewhere around 8am/9am until 3pm/4pm.
Pay range has been posted to this ad. After 90 days full-time, you will receive FREE Health Care through our company.
