We employ up to 100 staff each season which gives Alpine Elements a unique advantage in offering the chance to work summer or winter and, if visa restrictions allow, back-to-back seasonal opportunities. We are fully compliant with all immigration laws; therefore we welcome all nationalities to apply that have an EU passport, a right to work in France in the form of a CDS, or are from a country where you can obtain a visa. We are one of the few companies that assist UK applicants to complete their visa paperwork, meaning all UK passport holders are welcome to apply, however the recruitment process has extra steps to obtain your visa and work permits. The majority of our guests are from the UK, therefore it is compulsory that all applicants are fluent in English to be considered for a position.

Position:
As a pre- travel concierge, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. This role involves calling the guests and managing various resort and airport logistics, providing personalised services, and offering valuable upsell opportunities. You will be responsible for coordinating essential aspects of our guests' stay and passing on these details to the resort team, ensuring their comfort and enhancing their overall vacation experience.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Resort PDC's: Complete all resort PDC's (Pre-Departure Checks) for selected areas, either Morzine & Tignes or La Plagne & Meribel.
  • Logistics Coordination: Confirm all resort logistics, including transfer slots, dietary requirements, extra equipment (such as cots and highchairs), and other guest needs.
  • Upselling Services: Proactively upsell additional services, including ski hire, lift passes, tuition, and wine upgrades to enhance guests' experiences.
  • Airport Coverage: Provide airport cover on Sundays to assist with guest arrivals and departures, ensuring smooth transitions.


Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a concierge, customer service, or hospitality role is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to work shifts over weekends.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Customer-focused with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Sales-oriented with the ability to identify and act on upsell opportunities.
  • Proficiency in handling logistics and coordinating multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of resort and ski-related services is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to varying work environments, whether office-based or home-based.

Other information:
Salary and Package benefits
35 hours a week working hours which include split shifts with great work life balance. Full training and development available during pre-season.
Salary is competitive, uniform is provided for airport visits, and staff meals are included within the working shifts.
Accommodation and assistance to obtain a visa (UK only) can be provided as optional extras if needed.
