Job Profile:
Vista is a fast-growing private aviation business, operating the world's largest global fleet of midsize and super-midsize jets, and embracing the highest levels of service, safety, security, reliability and value. Vista is expanding its Part 145 network, rebranding all facilities to ‘Vista Aircraft Maintenance’ during 2023. Our locations include Base Maintenance facilities in Farnborough (Dassault Aviation Business Services), Paris Le Bourget (Dassault Aviation Business Services), Munich (MCM Munich), Baden Baden (Air Hamburg Technik), Van Nuys (Jet Worx) and Bay City (Red Wing Aircraft Maintenance) with additional Line Stations in Malta, Nice and Luton and Mobile Repair Teams in South Florida and the New York area.

We are recruiting additional B1 Licensed Engineers to join our team in Munich.
Your Responsibilities:
The role of a B1 Licensed Engineer is a complex and technical one.

Inspection and certification of maintenance tasks, defect rectification, modifications, structural repairs and functional tests on components and systems of airframe, structure and engines or/and electrical systems / avionics components as well as signal and data lines

  • Complete all assigned work in a timely manner to optimize aircraft downtime;
  • Troubleshooting and initiation of required corrective actions
  • Independent preparation, execution, follow-up and documentation of all work carried out in compliance with airworthiness and current aviation law regulations and requirements
  • Final testing and release of aircraft in compliance with current aviation law regulations and within the specified internal qualification
  • Maintain a high standard of husbandry and cleanliness within assigned work areas;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes and procedures;
  • Promote a Just Culture, adhere to company Health & Safety policies, and report all incidents and occurrences through the Company Safety Management System;
  • Highlight any technical issues, discrepancies or other issues to the maintenance management team;
  • Actively support, promote and contribute to continuous improvement;
  • Undertake any reasonable activities as required, including supporting other Vista maintenance facilities;
  • AOG support and willingness to travel abroad
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
  • Hold a valid EASA B1 License
  • Ability to pass airside clearance and obtain a ZUP within Germany;
  • Have the rights to live and work in Europe
  • Several years of practical experience, ideally on our fleet’s aircraft types
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  • Have the right to work in the European Union without restriction;
  • Be highly motivated, a great team player with a high level of attention to detail;
  • Hold a valid car driving license
