About the position and our company

Reppublika is a multinational media tech company headquartered in Vienna, developing our own Saa S product in the field of online advertising, access panels and digital market research. We are currently a team of 60, including 40 developers, working both on-site and from homeoffice in Latvia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Greece. We are looking for a Mid-level or Senior Backend Developer to join the team in one of our offices, or fully remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop minor and major application features - from coding to testing and deploying
• Code, test, and deploy new features; Troubleshoot application bugs and determine resolutions
• Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and reliability
• Suggest improvements, security needs, best practices, etc (we welcome initiative and ideas)

Requirements

• Experience of at least 4 years working with PHP and My SQL . To be considered at the Senior Level, we expect 6+ years
• Experience with Laravel and git
• Experience developing Rest APIs
• Ease in writing, editing, and maintaining Unit/Feature tests
• Appreciation for clean, reusable, and well tested code, and attention to detail
• Good English skills, experience in clear and empathetic communication within a remote team
