We are looking for an Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Electronic Architecture team in the Research & Development Division.
Type of contract: Permanent
Place of work: Wolfsburg, Germany

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Model based systems development of automotive E/E hardware architecture
  • Development of electrical circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, geometrical topology for wiring harnesses in PREEvision
  • Analysis of OEM specific engineering documentation, e.g. technical specification, design guidelines

Skills and Experience
  • Degree in Electronics and/or Informatics
  • 1-3 years of experience in the automotive or electronics industry desirable
  • Basic knowledge of Automotive E/E architecture and vehicle power and information networks
  • Development experience of electronics products and wiring harness design is advantageous
  • Experience in Vector PREEvision modelling, design tools, systems design and development is advantageous but can also be trained on the job
  • Basic understanding of Automotive Communication protocols like CAN and LIN, Ethernet is advantageous
  • Fluent in English; German and Japanese skills are a plus
  • Strong interest in working in an international environment
