Position:
Teaching English to small groups of children between the ages of 3 and 11 years old in kindergartens and primary schools throughout Berlin. Classes only available on a freelance basis for the 2024/25 school year.
Instructors receive our materials, syllabus and monthly additions, which should be adapted to suit their individual classes.
Job Requirements:
Native or near-native English with clear annunciation is required.
A teaching qualification is not a requirement; however, relevant prior experience working with young children and a conversational level of German are both necessary.
ESL/TEFL training or experience is preferred.
Training and Shadowing:
Successful applicants will undergo a one-on-one training with our Head Teacher, during which they will become familiar with our teaching methods and content. This will be accompanied by shadowing a senior teacher and the Head Teacher's pressence for their first classes; where they receive hands-on practical advice.
Available classes are offered during training and will be fully available upon successsful completion of the training and preparation.
Additionally, our instructors receive ongoing, professional support from our experienced staff, who routinely accompany instructors to classes to give constructive feedback and aid professional development.
