Position: Financial Accountant
Responsible Scope: Project Business and Product Distribution Business
Reports to: International CFO of Group
Location: Hamburg, Germany
General Description:
Primarily responsible for Financial Control, Taxation, Audit, Compliance and Risk Management of Clenergy Project and Product Business in Germany. Primary stakeholders are ICFO and Managing Director, external tax and accounting firm and Management Accountant (based in Xiamen China). Key focus of Project Controller cum Financial Accountant is to provide project accounting and cost and profitability analysis, budgeting, tax reporting, cashflow management and external and internal compliance. For Product Distribution Business, primary responsibility is Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Payables management, management reporting, tax reporting, cashflow management.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Accounting
• Alignment between Datev and SAP accounting

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Prepare annual budget – P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
• Prepare quarterly forecast – P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow

• Financial Management
• Prepare monthly financial analysis
• Margin Analysis and control
• Cashflow Forecast
• Tracking of IC Loans
• Significant contract review
• Payment Forecast
• Accounts receivable analysis and control
• Staff Expenses review and approval
• Inventory and Warehouse stock control
• Year end audit coordination

• Project Controlling
• Prepare project budget
• Generate project control report to follow up on Actual, FC and budget spendings
• Calculate financial model and project IRR

• Tax & Statutory Compliance
• Assist external tax advisor in:
• Value added tax or Consumption tax submission
• Annual Statutory financial statement preparation and Lodgment
• Annual Income Tax returns

Required qualifications and skills:

• Qualification – Bachelor in Economic/Finance with major in Accounting and Finance
• Experiences – More than 5 years’ experience in Accounting, financial reporting and tax
• Specific experiences – product distribution business , experience in SAP/Datev, VAT lodgement using Datev, Ms Excell and Powerpoint
• Language: English, German, Mandarin skill will be highly regarded
