Full Circle Sales Manager (m/f/d) remote within Germany

About the Role:
Expanding access to Software that enables companies to benefit from the new energy world is a critical step in realizing our long-term plan of saving the industrial sector and our planet.
While we hope that one day, every industrial company will base its energy decisions and supply on smart algorithms, realizing this future still requires a lot of selling.
RIZM is looking for an energetic and experienced salesperson to help win over leading industrial companies, their energy- and procurement teams for our mission. As Sales Manager at RIZM, you'll work closely with the founding team to refine and expand our sales processes. Drawing on insights from our initial product-market fit, you will enhance our outreach and introduce new, creative methods for contacting and selling to potential buyers.
In this role, you act as a hands-on representative, defining and implementing sales strategies that align with RIZMs strategic goals. Your efforts will contribute to defining our GTM strategy and success.
Tasks
- Design the Sales Processes: Iterate our current sales motion to create and execute a structured, repeatable sales process. This includes keeping and learning from what led to past successes, and experimenting with new approaches where suitable.
- Execute the entire Sales Cycle: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure. This includes you working operatively through all funnel stages.
- Build Client Understanding: Systematically gain a deep understanding of our customers' needs, org-structures, and individual stakeholder interests.
- Cultivate Key Relationships: Develop relationships with key stakeholders within target organizations and demonstrate how our platform delivers substantial value. This includes organizing sales events and building a strategic partnership with at least one company in news/media or multiplier (like SAP; Hyperscaler & Consulting Firms etc.).
- Represent RIZM in customer meetings and negotiations.
- Collaborate with CS & Product: Work closely with the customer success and product team to discuss own insights and ensure clients achieve their sustainability goals through our platform to improve RIZMS product offerings.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
- Experience in selling to large industrial companies: with a documented history of achieving sales targets or at least five years of experience in consulting
- Key Account Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and grow relationships with high-value clients.
- Willingness to step up: Willingness to take on new responsibilities and take ownership of new projects & tasks
- Structured and Hands-On Work Style: Organized and methodical in approach, with the ability to create efficient sales processes and engage directly with team members and clients.
- Understanding of Complex Products: Expertise in software products that require detailed explanations and can address multiple stakeholders within a client’s organization, facilitating their energy transition goals.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and persuade diverse stakeholders, including C-Level executives of large enterprises. Excellent (C2) German and English skills.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust strategies in response to market feedback and evolving company goals.
- Scale-Up-Mindset: Good sense of humor, ability to think big and hungry for success.
- Direct: Eager to actively contribute your ideas. When you encounter challenges or obstacles, you ask for help. If you have internal feedback, share it.
- Sustenance: You handle rejection well and do not let it demotivate you. You understand that polite persistence often leads to success.
- Self Demanding: Delivering best results, highly ambitious and outstandingly smart.
- Processual and Creative Thinking: Proven experience in designing and implementing processes, combined with the ability to think outside the box to get things done.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust strategies in response to market feedback and evolving company goals.
- You will work on closing deals with large enterprise companies and known brands from day 1 - some of the deals are already post Po C and have stakeholder buy-in
