Your tasks:
-Development, maintenance and optimization of GIS (geographical information systems) and maps using various methods and tools
- Planning, preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of mapping campaigns using various methods and tools
- Project scouting, feasibility studies and development of renewable energy (RE) projects onshore, especially wind & PV in various countries worldwide and for offshore wind energy projects in various countries worldwide
- Specific and precise location search for such projects using GIS tools
- Technical guidance from colleagues in various countries in the field of GIS
- Ongoing technology research in the field of mapping technologies, in relation to appropriate methods, software and hardware
Your profile:
- Degree in engineering, architecture, geography or similar
- Several years of professional experience
- Professional experience in the field of GIS and cartography
- Business fluent in English
- Professional experience in the field of renewable energies is a plus
- Other languages, especially French, Spanish and/or German are a plus
- Availability for occasional travel, also intercontinental
- Team spirit and flexibility, independent working style, reliability and ability to work under pressure
