The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Head of PV role will make an impact:

Ensure compliance with national regulatory authority requirements for pharmacovigilance (PV) and Viatris standards
Lead the German PV department with 5 direct reports, including quality control and assurance processes
Oversee and assess safety data and signal management for all Viatris products distributed in Germany
Collaborate with global teams and regulatory authorities, managing risk minimization measures and product recalls
Ensure PV compliance through internal audits and regulatory inspections

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

Master’s degree in pharmacy, medicine, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience as Graduated Plan Officer (Stufenplanbeauftragter)
Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in pharmacovigilance
Leadership skills and experience in budget management
Fluent in German and English with strong MS Office skills
