To drive the smart and sustainable energy future, we are looking for a forward-thinking and experienced Head of Trading and Energy Operations (d/f/m) who shares our vision and values. It will be your mission to set up and constantly improve a joined operations desk between Flexa and Entrix.

• Location: Munich, Germany
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Salary Range: € 100.000 - 120.000 + competitive VSOP package
• Working Mode: Office setup
• Language Requirement: C1 Level English and German

Your Responsibilities

• Setup and lead real-time operations team incl. monitoring, initial response, coordination across teams/companies, availability/schedule management, and reporting
• Optimize and lead trading and energy market operations incl. market communication, logistics, and collateral management
• Build interface to engineering team to ensure smooth operations and processes

Your Profile

• Entrepreneurial personality with a high degree of self-initiative, result-orientation, and strong stakeholder management
• 4+ years experience in project and operations management in high pace, result-driven environment (e.g., top-tier consulting, start-ups)
• Experience working with engineering teams and excellent technical understanding
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
• Outstanding academic track record with a degree preferably in engineering, business administration, or economics

Hi there!
I'm Steffen, the Founder and CEO of Entrix.

My journey to the energy industry came as a surprise. After completing my business and technology management studies, I began my career in consulting, eager to work with automotive and high-tech companies. However, my first project was with a large energy company, and I’ve been in the industry ever since. For me, it’s the ideal sector to create lasting positive impacts on society while building a successful business — true sustainability in action!

I’m passionate about our work at Entrix because we’re at the forefront of the energy transition. The complexity of the technical challenges we tackle fascinates me. The energy system is the most complex machine humans have ever built and our goal is to make it work much more intelligently.

For me, it’s important to create a work environment defined by autonomy. I aim to provide an environment where you have full ownership over your function and initiatives. That being said, you can of course always count on me to collaborate closely to get a project started, sparing ideas, tackling tough challenges, or to remove roadblocks. I take great joy from this!
