Vielfältige Aufgaben

A wide range of Tasks

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager for the Trading business unit. In this role, you will establish a comprehensive management system to ensure international compliance requirements and coordinate the relevant Plan-Do-Check-Act cycles. You will actively contribute to the development of compliance structures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in the areas of LNG, coal, ammonia and algo trading. You will lead a team that will work with you to coordinate compliance work internally and externally:
- Establish a compliance management system: Develop and continuously improve a global and local management system to ensure compliance in all relevant areas.
- International compliance requirements: Ensure compliance with international compliance requirements, particularly those in our European locations: Switzerland, Norway and the UK, as well as complex regulatory requirements in the LNG, coal and ammonia sectors.
- Regulatory reporting and ESG: Responsibility for ESG compliance and reporting. Monitoring and reporting of complex regulatory requirements related to trading activities
- Automated trade monitoring and sanctions: Overseeing and implementing automated trade monitoring and sanctions compliance systems.
- Regulation of algo trading and Mi FID: Monitoring and analysing regulatory developments in the area of algo trading and the forthcoming Mi FID regulations, with the aim of ensuring compliance in this area
- Team responsibility: Management of a small, specialist compliance team focused on international and local regulatory compliance. You will manage the team through regular feedback and development meetings, promoting professional development and ensuring close collaboration within the team. You will also ensure that tasks are allocated efficiently and that your team members achieve their objectives while supporting the business strategy.

Überzeugendes Profil

Convincing Profil

Degree in business, law or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in compliance, legal, regulation or risk control, ideally in an energy, financial services or trading environment
Interest in international regulations, particularly in the area of financial market law (Mi FID, ESG, sanctions, etc.)
Experience in coordinating and implementing complex compliance projects in an international environment, and internal coordination in a large corporate setting.
Willingness to build and manage a small team of compliance professionals.
Strong communication skills in both English and German.
